Cheers to my first backyard intimate wedding!
Megan + Konstantine probably have the sweetest wedding day story! When Megs booked The Ten Oh Eight Co last year in 2019, I was so incredibly excited to shoot their wedding! Little did we all know that plans would completely and suddenly have to change due to a world-wide pandemic.
They quickly went from a 200+ guest wedding planned for March 21, 2020 at the Rutherford in Greenville, South Carolina to having to reschedule a week before their planned date and have a small intimate wedding on March 20, 2021, where the groom grew up.
Megs and her girls got ready at the AC Marriott Hotel in Downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina. Konstantine and his men got ready at his childhood home.
Their ceremony took place at the Groom’s childhood home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The groom’s family and the groomsmen worked tirelessly to make the backyard look perfect for their rescheduled wedding! They had two days to prepare for this new wedding plan.
My most favorite part of the day was seeing both families, friends, and an incredible vendor team work together to create the most perfect wedding day for Megs and KD.
Most importantly, what could have been a stressful, disheartening, upsetting situation due to the pandemic, turned into the most perfect intimate backyard wedding and one of my most favorite weddings yet! The love these two share for one another was unreal and the support from their families and friends was truly remarkable.
